Leadership Development
Ministry Education
We partner with educational programs and institutions to help prepare leaders for local church service and international missions.
Local Ministry Programs
A few Alliance NW churches offer accredited, "church-based," Bachelors and Masters programs.
The vision is to prepare a new generation of vocationally-called leaders for local church service (neighborhoods) and international missions (the nations). The reality is that a student graduating from these programs can be field-ready and debt-free.
Reach Training Institute (RTI) - Salem
Launched by Salem Alliance Church in January of 2014.
Reach Training Institute (RTI) - North Sound
Launched by Smokey Point Community Church in September 2019.
As educational partners with Crown College in Minnesota, RTI is developing highly effective leaders through theological education and practical ministry experience for international and local kingdom service, at the lowest possible cost. They enable students to earn fully-accredited, four-year bachelor’s degrees in Christian Ministry or Global Studies in a cohort model that encourages learning and growth in a community-based environment.
Bible & Theology Courses for Accreditation
Courses are offered through the National Alliance office through their Alliance Center for Leadership Development (ACLD).
The Crown 30 Program offers an opportunity for emerging leaders in the Alliance to complete the coursework in biblical and theological studies you need for licensing. Crown 30 is designed to be both convenient and affordable.
Empower is a developmental ministry certificate program designed by women for women, to move to the next level in their personal relationship with God and to walk in the fullness of their gifts and calling.
The program is designed for women to receive biblical and theological training, enrich their own personal spiritual formation by dealing with issues of the heart, and process with other women in small mentoring groups. You can receive 6 credits through this program.
Higher Education Institutions
The Alliance has multiple schools affiliated with our mission that offer many programs that are mission and ministry focused.
Graduating with these programs can give students a head start after school if they decide to pursue positions in the Alliance.
