Leader Care

A core purpose of the District Office is to support those on the front lines, those called to lead the local church in the mission God has given us.

Because the pastoral role is very demanding and can negatively impact a pastor’s well being, we invite you to take advantage of the opportunities listed below to find the support you may need.

Crisis Care

Alliance NW also serves the local church during times of significant crisis in a leader’s family to help provide stability in the home while helping the church navigate leadership adjustments.

Email dwayne@alliancenw.org for more information.

Regional Networks

Peer relationships with other pastors can have a direct impact on ministry health. A key purpose for Alliance NW Networks is to provide safe, supportive relationships among pastors within the same region.

 Renew Retreat

Every year, the Alliance NW family gathers in beautiful Cannon Beach, Oregon, to recharge—spiritually and physically.

Renew is designed to create space for encouragement, reflection, worship, friendship, walks on the beach, or even a long nap. We encourage church boards to care for their leaders by sending them to Renew.

Renew registration materials and more information will be sent out in our Newsletter, or you can check out our Events Page.
