A church assessment will provide a clearer picture of your current reality and help you discover God’s plan for the future of your church. It serves as both a mirror and a map.

We partner with a team of specialists at VitalChurch Ministry as well as utilize the PEAK assessment tool to measure the vital signs of a church. This provides the opportunity for dialogue and discovery as you begin to discern God’s pathway toward a new future.

The Pastor Assessment provides an opportunity to discover your capacity to lead effectively in the context of revitalization.

Discovering the strengths and weaknesses you bring into the unique world of leading significant change will help you and your coach identify specific areas for growth and development. Usually Turnaround Pastor Assessments are conducted on an individual basis but on occasion they may be administered in conjunction with the Turnaround Bootcamp offered periodically.

These periodic three-day events are designed to provide an orientation and an overview to the process of revitalizing a church.

The majority of pastors tasked with leading a turnaround church have little experience or exposure to what is involved. They often find themselves swimming in the ‘deep end of the pool’ with little to no understanding of how to swim. The purpose of our Bootcamp is to outline the pathway, review the unique challenges, provide an understanding of the stages of revitalization, help you begin charting a course for navigating the process, as well as point you to available resources.

We have a pool of Turnaround Coaches trained and prepared to come alongside each pastor tasked with leading their church through the revitalization process.

Each of our coaches has experience in the world of revitalization in the context of pastoral ministry. They engage their coaching relationships with a deep passion to see their fellow pastors succeed. The relational support and the accountability a coaching relationship offers is invaluable. We believe every Turnaround Pastor will benefit from having a Turnaround Coach.

The Turnaround Learning Collaborative (TLC) is an online community created for leaders in the uniquely difficult world of church revitalization. This regularly scheduled collaborative community is a place for pastors, leaders, coaches and specialists to gather for the purpose of sharing our stories, encouraging one another, learning from each other, sharing best practices, gaining insights, and praying and supporting each other.

The Changing Course Consultation is an intensive, eight-month guided process designed to assist churches as they seek to return to spiritual health, numerical growth, and kingdom fruitfulness.

It is a strategic process designed to help plateaued and declining churches of all sizes. Each month the consultant will meet in-person with the pastor and church leadership team. The goal at the end of the process is to implement a strategic plan that will guide the church to once again make a dynamic impact in its community.

Personal renewal precedes corporate renewal.

ReFocus is more than strategic planning. It entails spiritual discernment, listening carefully to God and one another. It addresses these key questions: Where have we been? Who is God calling us to reach? Where are we going? How will we get there? This 12 to 18 month guided process will focus on both the individual life of each congregant as well as the corporate life of the church as a whole. It begins with a period of spiritual renewal followed by a redefining of the mission, vision, and values of the church, culminating in a strategic ministry plan and implementation timeline.
