Sabbath: Leading out of a Rested Soul.
This two day retreat is a time where we get to stop from the noise and busy pace of life and step into a moment of Sabbath with our Heavenly Father. Come find a place of rest, healing, and peace on the Oregon Coast with us this New Year.
This year’s theme is Sabbath. Our time will be spent considering the true meaning of Sabbath and how to lead well out of a rested soul.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Keynote Speakers
Ted & Sandy Kang
San Jose Christian Alliance Church
Ted and Sandy Kang joined San Jose Christian Alliance Church in California in 2002 as Alliance missionary candidates. Their initial 2-year internship has been a 20+ year journey that is still unfolding. Since 2014, Ted has been the lead pastor of the church which has become a beautiful multilingual and multicultural community.
Ted currently serves on the C&MA Board of Directors and is completing his DMin studies at Alliance Theological Seminary. Sandy is the staff director at Healing Grove Health Center after serving as the founding director of Gateway Preschool Academy. She also serves on the Empower Leadership team of the Metro District. With their four daughters, they love outdoor adventures, rafting down many California rivers, playing board games and engaging in many conversations around the dinner table.
