Deeper Life: Spiritual Refreshing and Empowering
This two day retreat is a time to be led in a Holy Spirit empowered environment and find both refreshment and tools to take home with you.
There will be space for rest, listening prayer, and workshops that will provide practical tools to empower the spiritual giftings of those in your own church. We look forward to going deeper into our roots as part of the greater Alliance family and deeper into our faith together.

Dr. Ron Walborn
Vice President and Dean
Alliance Theological Seminary
Dr. Ron Walborn is the Vice President and Dean of Alliance Theological Seminary and Nyack College in New York City and San Juan Puerto Rico. He has a B.A. in History from Nyack College, an M.Div. from Alliance Theological Seminary and a DMin from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Dr. Walborn has planted and pastored churches in Connecticut and California. He has authored one book and numerous articles and chapters for other publications. He has lectured and spoken at churches, conferences and other events both nationally and internationally. Dr. Walborn was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania in a Ministry focused family. Ron and his wife, Dr. Wanda Walborn have four married adult children and four beautiful grandchildren.

Greta has been involved with leading worship since she was just a mere 6th grader and hasn’t slowed down since. Growing up in the church as a pastor’s kid, she had a wonderful example of how to lead others into the presence of Jesus from an early age. Worship leading is and always will be a passion and source of joy in her life.
Being a Salem native, she is an Oregon girl through and through. However, she is quick to jump at any opportunity to travel abroad. But no matter which country or city she visits, she is consistently thankful to call Oregon her home. In her free time, you’d likely find her thrift shopping, walking around Riverfront Park, checking out Salem’s delicious local eateries, or spending an evening in with her sweet lap cat, Ellie.
She strives for authentic, enthusiastic, and genuine praise to our Heavenly Father; committed to keeping Christ at the center of everything she does. She is eager to see where Holy Spirit leads us at this event!
