Sexual Discipleship & Recovery

Sexual health and purity is one of the most important issues facing the health of the Church. This is true for both leaders and congregants. Alliance Northwest seeks to help remove the shame that often keeps good people from getting the help they need to find freedom.

Our new partnership with Center for Faith, Sexuality, and Gender has led to some great resources to help lead you and your church in this important conversation.

Here are some of their resources:

Sexual Addiction Resources

Alliance Northwest has entered into a partnership with Pure Desire Ministries. This partnership provides excellent resources at discounted prices for you and your church.

Pure Desire provides Christ-centered recovery options for those ensnared in love and sexual addiction.  Their resource materials, treatment options, and conference presentations are now available at discounted rates (or in some cases are free), to Alliance Northwest leaders and churches.

The following access codes will grant Alliance Northwest leaders and churches the discounted rates:

  • P15CMANW - 15% off all materials

  • E100CMANW - FREE entry to an event for any Alliance Northwest licensed worker or other church leaders on a case by case basis

  • C25CMANW - 25% off all counseling services for any Alliance Northwest licensed worker

Sexual Safeguards for Everybody

What would happen if we created a culture where the use of safeguards on our phones and computers was simply standard practice? Would it help us if all of our church boards, church staff, and church membership were encouraged—for the benefit of self and others—to safeguard our devices against harmful online material? One good option that’s been proven to help over the years is the Covenant Eyes app. This app’s ease of use has been significantly upgraded over the years.

We know pastors struggle with sexual addiction. We want to help. We have access to several sexual addiction therapists and a couple of organizations that help leaders find healing and sexual health. If you’re struggling with sexual addiction (including but not exclusive to pornography), get the help you need now, because it will only cause you greater pain later.

Contact Dennis Pust for a completely confidential conversation that could be your first step toward freedom, health, and greater impact.

Or, contact one of these recommended Christian sexual addiction therapists directly:

Nick Stumbo, Executive Director of Pure Desire, is also available to meet with church leadership teams to talk about Pure Desire and/or counsel churches on how to start discipleship groups. This is a free service to Alliance Northwest churches. He can be contacted at
