DONOR SERVICES SUPERVISOR
This position is responsible for supervising the Donor Services Office.
The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) is seeking an experienced Donor Services supervisor. This is a full-time, nonexempt position located at the National Office in Colorado Springs. This position reports to the controller and is responsible for providing donor support, specifically related to donor accounting. In the performance of his/her responsibilities, this position supports the overall mission of the C&MA as described below.
- 1–2 years of college preferred in accounting or related area of study.
- 3–5 years of experience in a related position required
- 2–4 years of experience within the C&MA preferred
- Knowledge of donor services and accounting
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to this role; ability to work with leadership across areas of ministry, major donors, and the diverse communities served by C&MA
Assigns and directs Donor Services Office operations; receives all incoming funds, segregates receipts, determines processing sequence and makes work assignments to Donor Accounting analyst; distributes receipts for mailings, posts receipt batches to general ledger, determines methods to solve account assignment, and documents verification not handled by standard means; responsible for progress and accuracy of work assigned within Donor Services Office; oversees the C&MA Direct program, toll-free line, and online gift processing; oversees processing of Service Center payments.
Oversees project management responsibilities of the Constituency Management System (CMS) including fixes and enhancements for future phases of the system development, and designs and implements the Online Payment System; manages Funding Management System (FMS) receipt and donor letter processing; converts DataLink reports to Excel data; utilizes Excel and Word Mail Merge to expedite contact with donor base.
Prepares and submits daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to management and the National Office; handles other report requests or financial analyses as requested.
Provides direct supervision and coaching for other team members within assigned office including assignment and oversight of duties, writing performance evaluations, approving timecards if applicable, and handling of other personnel matters.
Under general direction of the director for Donor Engagement, assists in management and oversight of systems for Donor Engagement; is comfortable and conversant with the Alliance (FMS) and speaks with donors, answers donor inquiries, and provides overall support to Donor Engagement as needed.
Works with General Accounting and the Treasurer for Alliance World Fellowship to prepare and processes membership fees, donations, and miscellaneous receipts for AWF on a monthly basis; also handles inquiries and provides overall support for AWF funding.
Cooperates with Programmers and IT Personnel to facilitate new revenue initiatives as needed
