Field Forum, the Alliance Northwest annual leadership gathering in Portland, Oregon, is coming in April 2018. This year's theme is "The Call".
Jesus extended a call to a few regular people who ended up changing the world. History repeatedly shows that when ordinary people grasp hold of this call and lean into the Spirit of Jesus, lives are totally transformed. This same call beckons us today.
Knowing the call with deep clarity and conviction is powerful. Having a shared understanding and common commitment to that call is much more powerful. From it, we can help each other see through the unending expectations of others, the “latest and greatest” solutions for everything, and the rapid cultural change we all face in ministry. There’s strength in numbers.
Jesus’ call hasn’t changed. Field Forum 2018 is about hearing and seeking to respond again to the call of Jesus on our lives to follow him – together as a family of leaders.
We want to invest in future leaders of the church. Do you have someone in your church that God is calling into ministry or you see God moving toward leadership in your church? If this is you and you’re licensed, you are invited to pray for and invite an additional leader or emerging leader from your church. The Field Office will cover registration costs for the unlicensed leader.
We're moving to a new, larger location (the Red Lion on the Portland side of the Columbia River) to provide room for you to include additional leaders for this special event. And, we've already begun planning Field Forum 2018 in order to make it an event that will catalyze your church's health, and its ability to effectively make and deploy discipled leaders who live out the mission of God.
Registration cost (includes conference and food):
Book before April 1: $211 + Hotel ($134/night for single/double occupancy).
Book after April 1: $235 + Hotel ($134/night for single/double occupancy).
Registration is now open.
*When registering the future leader, please select “Emerging Leader” and the Field Office will know to cover their costs.
